Region 3 has built a competition and workshop event that we all can be proud of and, as committee members have discussed, and we plan to build on our previous success.  The committee has met to determine the standards associated with the competition this year, identify elements that are crucial for success, and development of activities that will promote a competition that will benefit students, faculty and sponsors.  The members of the committee are:

• Lee Templin, Director ASC Region #3; Rich Miller, Immediate Past Director ASC Region #3; Brad Benhart and Boshra Karimi, Faculty Development Leads

Schedule Preview (Competitions)

Wednesday October 18th

4:00 pm - Registration for Competition Teams

4:00 pm - 7:30 pm - Career Fair

7:30 pm - Opening Ceremonies

NOTE:  Food will be served as in the past

8:00 pm - Student Workshop meet and greet with KIEWIT, NECA, Whiting Turner and MCA of Chicago (for select attendees)

Thursday, October 19

6:00 am - 8:00 am - Pre-Bid Meetings as shown on Excel spreadsheet, Continental Breakfast and coffee at Pre-Bid Locations

8:00 am - 11:00 pm - Student Competitions - Lunch and Dinner will be provided

Sophomore Summit and Freshman Focus attendees will have separate schedule

Friday, October 20

8:00 am - 5:00 pm - Student Presentations, Continental Breakfast and Coffee provided by Bluebeam

Saturday, October 21

8:00 am - Awards Ceremony and Breakfast at the Esplanade
